The Bridge the Bay Intercollegiate Conference is a collaborative effort between the Stanford Political Union and BridgeUSA chapters at UC Berkeley and San Jose State University. The aim of the conference is to model healthy disagreement, bridge ideological divides and inspire civic engagement by having student with diverse viewpoints participate in constructive dialogue.
The day-long conference will bring together over 100 students from schools across the Bay Area, engaging them in a series of dialogue-driven activities focused key political issues affecting college students.
A Social Mixer will take place in Palo Alto following the event.
The conference will be hosted on the Stanford campus. We will provide transportation for students commuting in from other campuses. Lunch will be provided.
